Lady Mantis

So, finally, the second painting of the series I plan to continue 'Insect beauty' you can see another one here

The thing is, you see, I'm actually very scared of insects. But one day I saw Blepharopsis's micro insect photograph, and I was totally amazed by how beautiful the insects looks. check out his awesome gallery! [link] Freaky as, but gorgeous.

So for Mantis, Blepharopsis has got these amazing white mantises that looks super elegant. But you know the female mantis needs to bite off the male mantis's head? XD

I wanted her to be extremely beautiful, kind of seducing you but not super suggestive - but guess what, if you are familiar with insect anatomy....I'll leave the rest to the naughty you.

Anyway, hope you like this painting and I hope I did the beautiful insects and Blepharopsis justice!
