Here it is! First time for me to post some fan art - as you may know, I recently posted a poll asking about which character I should do a fan art for.

I know you guys have picked Princess Mononoke, but Moon Princess/Sailor Moon was the second one - and I just happened to feel like drawing her at the moment. But don't worry, I will definitely make one Princess Mononoke fan art! Not right away, because I have some original personal art that I really want to work on soon!

To be honest, if I said that one of my biggest influence is not Sailor Moon then it is a big lie. lol. When I was a kid I was watching the TV show everyday, and I think I watched the first season of the DVDs for so many times until some discs are ruined. I even played badminton with my friends while yelling out the moves of Sailor Moon. LOL. Then I was tracing a lot of Sailor Moon, and I got a whole collection of Sailor Moon stationary. I also bought so many Sailor Moon cards and stickers. The good times! haha.

For me (especially the little me), the Moon Princess was perfect. She was gentle, innocent, kind, beautiful yet strong. All this sounds a bit cheesy now, but sometimes, I enjoy recalling these simple things. :)

Oh, wow... you really captured the essence of all those things you mentioned (gentle, innocent, kind, beautiful yet strong). The colouring is just beautiful. I like the flowers, too. ^^
