My first "proper" personal painting for 2013!
Since 2013 is a snake year, so of course we should start it with some snake!!
They are inspired by my favourite Chinese myth characters. They are both snake "demons" (but good), and one is 1000 years old and one is 500 years old! XD The white snake, whose name is Bai Su Zhen （白素贞）, married a human who saved her life once. She is super mage actually so she helped him in many ways, but because she is a "demon", a monk separated this couple. Anyway, long story and if you wanna find out more, google is your best friend!
I wished they never actually go to the human world but just enjoy their happy life in the forest though... so much suffering in the human world! -_-!!! And to be honest, the guy the white snake married is really lame. :/

Those two are the cutest couple in Chinese mythology.
In the original version Lady Whitesnake was just planning to eat the priest. Her loving him was added later. Green/Blue snake was the real love of her life and the heroine who saved her.
