Hera

Yep, she is my version of Hera from the greek myth.

This is actually made for an online challenge that a Chinese forum I usually go to. Though I was really busy, the forum invited several brilliant artists as judges, and they will give critics on each painting. Therefore I squeezed my time out for this painting.

Though Hera is normally seen as a mean bitch (excuse me! haha), I think it's all Zeus's fault for flirting with every girl he sees. And for Hera being so loyal to her husband, I just wanted to make a positive appearance for her. What's more, from my research she was depicted as a very graceful and beautiful woman too. So, I made her to be a goodness that punishes every other girl that flirts with her husband, ha ha.

the challenge required Hera to have red hair and peacock elements related armers. So if you are wondering, that's why. I designed her weapon to be a whip with three spirits of fire. fire of jealousy and anger.
